The original Li'l Chips Systems web site contained on this server was removed from access in 2001 due to the high cost of traffic. Unexpectedly, the site received approximately one million hits per year in 2000 and 2001. At that time the server was a small Pentium-166 with 80MB of RAM and a 6GB Hard Drive, and the cost of Internet data-transfer in this region was over $80 per GB. Unable to obtain any out-sourced financing from the music industry or advertising, and unable to justify the continual cost out of the owner's pocket, the pages were removed from access. In late 2002, with Internet access becoming more popular in this region, the data-transfer costs were significantly lowered and bundled into the monthly hosting delivery price. The funds also became available to upgrade the server to a professional multi-processor rack-mount unit. This allowed these pages to be once again made public.
