Part of the TCMP Map Pack
High in the mountains of Japan stands an ancient desolate temple. Surrounded by
cliffs and waterfalls it is the vision of serenity. Once the jewel of peace and
tranquility, its Torii beckoning like a gateway to spiritual enlightenment. Now long
abandoned it sits in fragmented decay. Will you choose the path of inner peace or the way
of bloody battle?

This map was a large
design undertaking with almost entirely custom textures, custom staticmeshes, custom
scripts, custom sounds, and more...
Development of this map was more than 300 hours. Given more time (and more resolve)
the few stock UT textures and staticmeshes would have been replaced with custom versions. |

This is a highly detailed
map with many emitters, movers, physics objects and sound effects, so you will require a
high-end computer.
Recommended minimum system: P4-2GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro.
Included in the zip file is the Map, Music and Readme files. Copy the map to the
UT2004 Maps folder, the music ogg to the UT2004 Music folder.
For low end systems, set the UT2004 World Detail to Low to remove the many emitters and
increase your framerate. To see all of the detail, you will have to set the UT2004
World Detail to High.
To reduce the waterfall sound flanging on Hardware 3D EAX audio cards such as the Sound
Blaster Audigy, set the game Audio Mode to 3D Audio. Settings of H/W
3D Audio or H/W 3D + EAX will cause the waterfall sound to hiss and become
harsh due to their method of hardware 3D positioning and the water's white noise
characteristics.
Be sure to try a game with Air Control and LowGrav mutators for "Crouching
Tiger" action! |

- "Angel Item
Physics" mutator resets the custom Pickup Item base smeshes.
- Sunlight Actor placement for player shadows (may fix in a later update). |
