Unreal Tournament 2004 map #12


Deep solar mining facility Epsilon stationed in the Kuiper Belt was impacted by a rogue asteroid, propelling it violently out of the solar system into uncharted space. The leaders of Federated Earth estimated that a recovery operation would take three years. The colony of miners soon exhausted their resources of food, water and oxygen, altering the once organized and cooperative team into total anarchy and a bloody battle for survival.

Description Deathmatch on a deep space mining facility.
Design A fast and flowing Deathmatch game style with multiple levels of z-play.
The overall map design is of the theme of an indoor/outdoor platform space station, with many fast arcade features such as jump pads.
This map is similar in style to my old UT'99 DM-Dyscus map, which is where I took the main overall design shape for SpaceJunk.
Features - plenty of custom scripts, sounds, staticmeshes, and textures
- many custom designed and developed staticmeshes
- realistic high resolution terrain with multiple textures
- custom in-house developed software was used in making the terrain
- plenty of shader textures and texture effects
- custom scripted audio effects

Notes - Due to the very high amount of detail a high-end computer is recommended.
- All Unreal II content in this map was converted by me.
- Four software applications were used in the creation of this terrain including custom in-house developed software.
- For extra game fun, be sure to try the following mutators with this map: LowGravity.
- Server admins may remove the screenshots from the zip for a smaller server-push map file.

Map Specifics:

- Weapon loadout: Assault, Bio, Flack, Link, Mini, Grenade, Shock, Rocket, Sniper.   Plus extra ammo packs.
- Health, Shield, SuperHealth and SuperShield are available on the map.
- The Double-Damage is on the map.
- Custom SuperAdrenaline and MegaAdrenaline are on the map.
- Redeemer and Ion Painter are on the map.
