My latest map CTF-DG-Aether is available for download on the map page link on the left.
This is one of my most involved maps to-date, and includes custom terrain, xprocmeshes,
scripted actors, baked and skinned staticmeshes, vertex-animated meshes, scripted ai
creatures, and more.
I'll release the new scripts and actors from this map for other level designers as soon as
I get the appropriate pages and information completed. So expect to see them
available in the UT2004 Level Design links within the next few weeks.

Updated UT2004 Adrenalines and TriggerSound actors. More actors, vertex-meshes, and
other content coming soon. Plus my newest map CTF-DG-Aether is almost ready for
release.

The UT2004 Mapping pages have been redesigned and moved to the UT2003/2004 menu area under
the heading of Level Design, so that I can expand on this and add more information and
tutorials. I have additional tutorials and custom scripts that will be available
shortly.
I also dug up all of my UT99 textures, sounds, and scripts, and I will make those
available in the UT menu Level Design area.
I have a lot of new pages and downloads to add to the site, so please be patient while I
get them all completed and uploaded. Any tutorial pages marked as
"preliminary" will be completed shortly, so be sure to check back.

DM-DG-PineRidge-TheHunt is released.
This is a night-time DeathMatch version of CTF-DG-PineRidge. Fun to play as a 1on1
sniper, or use LowGrav for leaping through the trees. Download it from the map page
link on the left...
The DG Adrenaline actors are available in the UT2004 Mapping Actors area.

VCTF-DG-Arctika is in final beta testing and should be available within a week. I
will post here as soon as it is released. The map page is now public so that you may
see the screenshots.
I'll be adding my SuperAdrenaline and MegaAdrenaline actors and my vCTFTransloc actor to
the scripts download area in the next week or so, once I get them all into easy download
packages.

I decided to document and release for download many of the custom scripts that I use for
various effects in my maps. These are mostly audio and sound effect scripts.
See the UT2004 Mapping link on the left menu. If you use any of these scripts in
your maps you must credit DGUnreal in your map readme.

collision.

Screenshots for ONS-DG-SandStone and ONS-DG-SandStone-Night are on their respective map
pages. ONS-DG-SandStone-Night should be released next week, followed by

CTF-DG-PineRidge is in final beta and should be released this weekend or next week.
ONS-DG-SandStone-Night and ONS-DG-SandStone are well into beta testing, and should be
released this month.
ONS-DG-Meadowland-32b (revision "b") is available for download. This
version fixes the errors in the location name volumes.

by David at 4:35 PM GMT-7
ONS-DG-Meadowland-32p has been updated and renamed to ONS-DG-Meadowland-32
to avoid server map name confusion. This map now has more than twice the decorations
(new Node buildings, updated Core buildings, various decoration meshes, and more
trees). This map is TitanONS-tested. See the new screenshots on the map
page. You will require a high-end computer to play this map.

I have a new map under development, ONS-DG-SandStone-Night. This map is perfecting
the terrain system that I have developed and tested with Meadowland, so expect this map to
look fantastic. Release of this map should be sometime in the next few weeks.
This map will be available in both night and day versions with changes to the vehicle
loadout between them.
I have plans on updating ONS-DG-Meadowland with some cover around the Nodes and a bit more
decos such as trees scattered about. On an already hi-poly map due to the terrain
design, these will be minimal updates.

David's latest UT2004 map "Meadowland" is now available for download.
This map utilizes a realistic terrain heightmap with 25 layers of texturing and decos, and
an excellent skybox by Hipshot.
It may be some time before I release any new UT2004 maps since I have been working a lot
lately with two game studios on other projects. I'll keep you posted.

In the first week of release for Waterfall, FalloutIsland and Colosseum, we had over 1100
downloads just on the sites that track hits. Colosseum was also the FileFront File
of the Week, and is still sitting as Featured Map this week. It has been the #1
download there for a while.
The map ratings at FileFront are: DM-TCMP-DG-1on1-Waterfall (NR), ONS-DG-FalloutIsland
(7), VCTF-TCMP-DG-FalloutIsland (10), DM-DG-Colosseum (8.4).
I have two UT2004 maps in beta, ONS-DG-Meadowland and ONS-DG-Ascraeus, these will be
released soon. Meadowland is getting its decorating completed, and Ascraeus is
getting all of its final staticmeshes completed. As with FalloutIsland, I will VCTF
both of these new maps, for those people who prefer the alternate game type.

We have four, that's 4!, Unreal Tournament 2004 Maps for you to download!
· DM-TCMP-DG-1on1-Waterfall (part of the TCMP Map Pack, so visit the TCMP Site).

· DM-DG-Colosseum.
· VCTF-TCMP-DG-FalloutIsland (part of the TCMP Map Pack, so visit the TCMP Site).

I really hope that the UT2004 community enjoys these maps, they have been a lot of work
and I hope that it shows in the map quality.
Our UT2004 Maps are also being mirrored at a few of the popular Map sites on the Internet.
With all of the extra beta testing and composing for the TCMP releases, ONS-Ascraeus is
still working towards beta. I will have to bump its release date to sometime
February. Expect new screenshots in a week or so.

I decided to "Onslaught" the VCTF-FalloutIsland map.
It also plays very well under this game type.
The VCTF version of the map required a few changes and additions to make the move to ONS,
but it is quite fun to play
As soon as the TCMP Pack is released, which contains the VCTF version of the map, I will
place the ONS version available for download on its page on this site.
To see a few new screenshots for the ONS version, click on the map link on the left menu.
Ascraeus is still working towards beta. With getting the TCMP Map Pack worked
through our beta cycle I've been taken away from regular mapping for a bit to do further
testing and tweaks on DM-Waterfall and VCTF-FalloutIsland. I'm truly hoping that the
community will enjoy these maps, they have been a lot of work, averaging over 300 hours
each.
Unfortunately, it looks like the last of the other mappers/scripters for the DGUnreal team
has left to pursue other things. Jason is no longer contributing anything for the
foreseeable future. It is difficult these days to find people who are dedicated to
UT gaming.
Your's truly (that would be me) is still very much alive in the area of UT mapping.
I have numerous additional maps on the drawing board, and I will work at getting them
released over this next year. With no lead scripter on the team anymore, I will have
to move my twenty-five years of professional assembler/c/vb programming experience further
into the area of uscript.
As always, you can find me on some of the UT forums such as those over at Atari...

Welcome to the new year.
DGUnreal has lots of maps planned for this year.
New screenshots are available for the DM-TCMP-DG-Colosseum map by Jason.
Click on the map link on the left menu.
The TCMP Map Pack is due for release within a few weeks. Once it is public, I will
update all of our TCMP map pages with a link to the map pack so that you may download the
final versions of our maps to enjoy.
I am still plugging away at Ascraeus, the large number of custom staticmeshes and textures
are taking some time to complete. I am still shooting for an end-of-January release,
hopefully not being more than a week or so late at most.
