PC and PS3 Compatibility

UE3 supports a wide range of PC hardware.

Note that the system requirements for the Editor are much higher than in-game.  This is due to the fact that you will want to see the level at maximum detail while you are creating it.

Also note that certain Shader Model 2 video cards such as the ATI X800 series have limitations when using the Editor, in that no grid is displayed.  A video card upgrade is required.

Older video cards that do not support hardware instancing and other newer 3D features are not supported well by UE3.

The PS3 has 256MB of main memory and 256MB of video memory.  So be sure to keep the total geometry, texture and lightmap use within reasonable ranges.  If your map is 300MB or more in size using mostly custom content, it may have issues on the PS3, so test on this platform first before releasing the map.
Custom StaticMeshes and Textures are supported.  PS3's do not support custom sounds.
There are also some limits/workarounds/issues with custom Player and Vehicle models.
